Sunday 13th May 2012 proved to be an historic day for our favourite football team Manchester City … they won the Premier League title in dramatic circumstances after beating Queens Park Rangers at the Etihad Stadium 3-2.
Manchester City have always had a tendancy to fluff the big occasion, and after going 2-1 down to ten men QPR it seemed City’s luck was running out. With 5 minutes extra time on the board, somehow, someway The Blues rose like a pheonix out of the ashes to score two goals and land their first major title since 1968 thanks to Edin Dzeko and Sergio Aguero’s late strikes.
Games like these leave you feeling drained … both physically and emotionally. It feels like you have done the London Marathon half a dozen times in the same day!! But when City finally managed to get over the finishing line it was the best feeling ever … for everyone under the Blue Moon umbrella, the players, the management staff and of course us very humble supporters.
Cloud 9 Design would like to send their heartiest congratulations to everyone at Manchester City Football Club for their sterling efforts over a long and enjoyable season. We enjoyed it all (particularly the 6-1 at Old Trafford), and we’ll be hungry for more success next season, so keep up the excellent work.
As from 1st April 2012, Cloud 9 Design will not be charging VAT on any of their products. We recently dropped of the VAT list, because business has dropped off due to the recession. Hopefully, this will give all our customers the incentive to place even more orders with us.
We have recently entered into the world of Stock Photography by joining Deposit Photos.com. Content is currently being uploaded on a weekly basis to try and get our name further afield and hopefully pick up some global interest. Many of you may have already read about our resident model Natalie Louise on our model profile page (http://www.c9designs.co.uk/photography/meet-our-models). Well the good news is that our favourite model is scaling the ladder to success and deservedly so. Natalie recently appeared in the LIVE CHESHIRE MAGAZINE and looks pretty fabulous in all her finery showing off bridal dresses and Autumn fashions. We are immensely proud of the fact that purely by chance, we found this irresistable and gorgeous young lady milling about on Purestorm and instantly knew that she would climb the ladder to fame. At the time we discovered her she was 23, she hadn’t done any modelling work since she was 19, but on that first meeting we instantly knew this girl was truly unique and very special. She was bright and bubbly and connected well with everyone around her. She put 110% into that first shoot and has continued to do so till this day.
The Live Cheshire magazine may not be a nationally renowned journal, but from very small beginnings it is a big leap for Natalie and she is very excited to have been a part of it. It’s only the beginning as far as we are concerned because we know she will reach her goal one day soon.If there was ever a girl born to be a professional model, this is the one. She has a natural ability to succeed and not only takes instructions very well, but also can bring some good ideas of her own to a shoot. To top that off she also has a magnificent personality and is always bright and bubbly and full of life and always a pleasure to be with be it for work-related purposes or on a social standing.
Natalie deserves to be at the very top of the modelling world and we would never hesitate to recommend her to any top modelling agency across the globe … she is a pure gem, a talent waiting to be discovered by a top agency who have the same belief as we do that Natalie does have everything it takes to be a huge success.

Wouldn’t it be great if once in a while our dreams did come true??? We all have our own things we’d like to do for example – winning the lottery and travelling the globe would probably be on top of most peoples dream wishlist. Yeah, we probably would all sign up to that one, but here at Cloud 9 Design we have so many on our wishlist that we could probably fill an whole volume of books!!
However, one that really stands out head and shoulders above the rest is to be able to travel and work alongside some of our favourite celebrities … inparticular Michael Caine, Renee Zellwegger, Meg Ryan, George Clooney, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt to name but a few. With our photography skills, we’re sure we could reach out to the Hollywood jet-set and explore their ‘human’ side and produce some interesting results. If we could actually travel back in time, then there is one particular lady who we could spend forever and a day with and that is the very beautiful and iconic MARILYN MONROE … the photographers dream. She came alive and shone like a star in front of the camera … and boy that would have been something to tell the grandchildren later in life!
We ‘re also interested in working with our favourite sports stars at Manchester City Football Club as well as some of our favourite musicians too such as The Blue Nile, Babybird, Sting, The Police, Big Audio Dynamite, Kate Bush, Annie Lennox, David Sylvian, Katherine Jenkins plus many, many more who we have admired over the years.

Cloud 9 Design recently moved premises to Edwinstowe House – Centre for Business Excellence, and we’re very pleased to report that we are now settled in and looking towards a brighter future.
Located close to Sherwood Forest, in the heart of beautiful Robin Hood Country – Edwinstowe House is situated at the bottom of the quaint High Street and is central to all local towns, i.e. Ollerton, Boughton, Mansfield, Mansfield Woodhouse and Warsop. There are also easy access roads to Sheffield, Chesterfield, Worksop, Retford, Doncaster, Newark and Nottingham, with the M1 Motorway only 30 minutes away.
If you’re thinking of paying us a call in person then it is always advisable to telephone first to let us know you are coming. You don’t have to make an appointment, just feel free to come and discuss your business or personal projects whenever it suits you. We’re very accommodating and will always welcome you with a nice cup of tea or coffee when you arrive.
Today marks the day we finally launched our new website, after months of hard work trying to fit the time in to do this was often hit and miss due to customers always coming first of course! However, we finally made it and we’re quite happy with how the new one looks and the new services our customers can now access.
